Empathy is the next component of emotional intelligence and has some connection with self-knowledge. Thus, this concept consists in the ability to see and understand the patient’s experience without the establishment of close contact (Moudatsou et al., 2020). Thus, in healthcare, the manifestation of empathy becomes a very valuable skill. So, it helps medical providers to establish a trusting relationship with patients and their loved ones, while fully agreeing with the opinion of the patient. A clinical specialist with a well-developed level of empathy understands the needs of medical service users and provides a sense of security.

Social Skills

The last but not most minor aspect of a person’s emotional intelligence is practical social skills. Success in achieving a particular goal directly depends on how people can interact with other members of society. To do this, it is necessary to build effective communications, which imply the ability to communicate and cause the necessary reactions. The most important aspects of social skill are the ability to exert influence through various tactics, build connections between goals and desired results, and, if necessary, subordinate others to the will. Another necessary characteristic is leadership qualities and the ability to inspire people and lead them (Goleman, 2021, p. 26). The latter is the ability to manage conflict situations and bring them to a favorable and fruitful conclusion by translating them into collaborative relationships.

Therefore, it can be concluded that emotional intelligence is greatly important in a person’s life. It plays a significant role in functioning such an area as healthcare. This is since the work of medical specialists is directly related to establishing contact with patients and their equipment. In this case, it becomes essential to create a friendly atmosphere and avoid any conflicts as much as possible. To do this, it is necessary to anticipate in advance the possible reactions of patients to negative news, the introduction of new methods of treatment, and other cases related to the provision of medical care. Moreover, emotional intelligence directly affects how specialists provide medical care and how effective the treatment process becomes.

Introduction

The selection of the ideal work role is important for every person. This process includes many aspects, including the understanding of personal qualities. Analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the character, the ability to do certain things are necessary to come to a better result. Having gained enough knowledge in the field of caring for young people, my ideal working role could be becoming a manager in a specialized center for teenagers. The main task of such a center will be to create a positive atmosphere for working with young people and developing their emotional intelligence. Among the goals of the house will be to make teenagers feel loved, heard and give them an awareness of their own importance.

Personal Vision and Goals

My main goal in becoming a qualified specialist is to find the most effective ways to help society. I am particularly interested in helping the younger generation, as they are more receptive to the problems that arise in their lives. To do this, it is necessary to carry out deep work, first of all, on oneself. This is conditioned by the fact that social work means working with people. Because of this, there may be many situations of misunderstanding, conflict, or denial that I would like to bypass in my practice. Training the five components of emotional intelligence can provide significant assistance in achieving the goals and objectives.

Ideal Future Job Role

As already mentioned, my ideal working role may be becoming a manager in a house for young people. This is since the importance of such specialized centers is very significant, so they help and guide children in a difficult life situation. Teenagers are often deprived of any help and support at such moments. As the house manager, I would like to define a specialized program with the involvement of other qualified specialists. This approach will help to create various classes and activities to improve the emotional state of adolescents, which will have a positive impact on their further results. Moreover, a home for young people can help solve such vital tasks as reducing the number of maladapted teenagers. Furthermore, this includes preventing them from appearing even at the initial level. Specialized events and training will help to form moral guidelines develop creative abilities to help the child adapt to society.

Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats

The foremost opportunity that is provided when opening a home for young people is to make a significant contribution to the development of society. With the help of the younger generation, the opportunity opens up for the formation of a new future society that will treat various life situations more soberly. Other advantages may be the small size of groups and an individual approach, which will also contribute to more effective work results at home for teenagers. Safety, comfort, and a unique, friendly atmosphere can also be attributed to the positive aspects of this initiative.

When opening a teen center, it is necessary to remember the threats and weaknesses of this business. Firstly, risks may arise due to high competition among these sociological institutions. To avoid it, it is necessary to conduct a market analysis to identify the best development strategy. The second significant risk may be a lack of demand since not all young people, and especially parents, can realize that a child needs qualified help. Another weakness may be an insufficient number of qualified personnel. In the absence of sufficient funding, not all psychologists and social workers can agree to pay for such a rate.

The first object when opening this business is the acquisition of a special license. Without this document, the functioning of any organization is not possible. The license assumes a demonstration that the center is a safe institution organized for a sufficiently large number of children, capable of providing the necessary services.

For proper work at home for young children, it is crucial to define special standards. They should correspond to the initial goal of nurturing an emotionally healthy generation. Moreover, it is necessary to follow the rules defined by the legislation, such as sanitation, discipline methods, and safety mechanisms.

The next object of activity is the formation of a specific effective policy. It will assist in supporting the productive activities of the daycare center and guarantee adherence to the principles of legislation.

Every business must have a sure profit from its activities; otherwise, it will not function normally. The provision of profit will be ensured when determining and implementing a successful pricing policy. Moreover, attracting investors and donations from the state or other large organizations can significantly help. The profit of the house for teenagers will have to cover all necessary expenses and provide wages to all employees.

I consider all the objects mentioned above achievable and specific since they form the basis for introducing something new, and for example, the purpose of obtaining a license and setting standards is mandatory for any public educational organization. Moreover, it also makes them realistic and measurable since, for example, the goal of obtaining the most significant profit is measured in a specific estimated amount that an organization must achieve in a time to show success. The specified interval for measuring critical indicators of six months adds to their measurability.

Risks, Profit and Resources

The main risk that can interfere with the action plan may be the threat associated with the essential resource for the organization is finance. It may arise in insufficient financing of the center or a small demand from society. Risk management tools can be used to solve it. Among them, a refusal of obviously questionable actions, a reduction in the percentage of borrowed funds, and a reduction in the options for unfavorable situations can be taken in advance. The primary resources for my action plan can be human and technical, as I believe that they can provide the most excellent assistance in this process.
